Buy here pay here (BHPH) is a used-car sales model in which the dealership finances the purchase in-house instead of sending the buyer to a bank.
Why dealers use it
It opens sales to buyers with thin or damaged credit — but the dealer carries the full risk until payoff, which is why GPS and starter interrupt are common.
